Dean A. Hertzler, 53, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2004, at St. Vincent Hospice with family and friends beside him.Born in Lancaster, PA to Nancy and Amos Hertzler, he graduated from Liberty University Seminary, Philadelphia College of Bible and Grace Seminary. He pastored congregations in Virgina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Indiana. He enjoyed singing, running and hunting.He married Janet Gutwein on May 14, 1972.In addition to his wife Janet, he is also survived by his children, Dean A. Hertzler, II, daughters, Katrina E. and Alicia K, and Leia L. Hertzler; father Amos N. Hertzler; brothers Barry and Dale Hertzler. He was preceded in death by son, David A. Hertzler and mother Nancy Hertzler.Dean had asked that in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Dean A. Hertzler Foundation in care of College Park Church, 2606 W. 96th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268
